Refuge in the Bay is a proof-of-concept short film detailing the impact and issues of climate change and sea level rise on coastal and island communities in the Chesapeake Bay. Refuge in the Bay offers an intimate, urgent portrait of communities fighting to preserve their home, heritage, and way of life against the encroaching tide.

This short film only offers a glimpse of the story unfolding in the rising waters of the Chesapeake Bay. We are seeking support and sponsorship to aid us in the completion of a feature length film.
Localizing Global Issues
Our film and advocacy doesn’t stop here. We’re seeking support to make a film series about various issues of climate change, injustices and environmental degradation affecting cultures and communities around the world. We want to take a global problem and localize, and explore the depths of where and how climate change is effecting humans the most.
